Vietnam blends ancient traditions with modern influences, reflected in it’s temples, markets, and street food. From motorbike filled streets with people honking constantly to peaceful rural villages, Vietnam offers a unique mix of chaos and calm.

Vietnam’s landscape ranges from the towering limestones cliffs along Halong bay, to stunning mountains, rice terraces and beaches.

I spent 30 days in Vietnam, traveling from the north to south. The people are warm and welcoming, proud of their history and resilience. They are are kind and always open to a conversation, even if it’s with a translation app.

I visited Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Du Gia, Hoi An, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Ho Chi Minh.

I’ve tracked my footsteps through Vietnam, and now I’m sharing my journey with those ready to take that leap of faith and just go for it:

In this PDF, you’ll find:

  • My favourite local tips: restaurants, food, hostels, viewpoints and activities

  • My favourite spots I’ve discovered along the way

  • Practical advice to make your travels easier and more authentic

The longer I’m there, the more I see. I traveled around Vietnam for 4 weeks
